Day 1: Home - Beijing
Your journey begins with flight to Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing
Mid-day arrival into Beijing, you will be greeted by your private guide and driver. Settle in at your hotel and leisure.
Afternoon stroll of Tiananmen Square. Time is matched for the Lower Flag Ceremony on the square!
A special touch ... tonight, enjoy a warm welcome dinner in a beautiful courtyard restaurant. Nicely decorated with red lanterns.
Day 3: Beijing
After a leisurely buffet breakfast at hotel, your private guide will take you to the Forbidden City - built in 1420, this massive palace compound witnessed changes of 24 emperors and the fall of Chinese feudal society. Then follow other pilgrims to the Lama Temple - the most active temple in Beijing.
Afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven - where dynastic rulers in China used to worship the heaven.
Day 4: Beijing
Excursion to the Great Wall. Spend the morning walking along the snaking walls for a breathtaking view. Continue onto the Summer Palace, a grand palace complex made up of dozens of halls and pavilions, surrounding the beautiful Kunming Lake.
Day 5: Beijing
Today has been left free for you to enjoy Beijing as you please. Numerous options available with the great capital!

Day 6: Beijing - Xian
Morning fly to Xian. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will be waiting for you and transfer to hotel to assist with check-in.
Afternoon tour the Terracotta Warriors and Big Goose Pagoda.
Day 7: Xian - Chongqing
Enjoy a late buffet breakfast at hotel. Your guide will take you on a leisurely walk on the Ancient City Walls and visit the Bell Tower.
Afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Chongqing. Onboard your Yangtze River Cruise for overnight.
Day 8: Yangtze River Cruise
Cruise set sail in the morning. Shore excursion to the ghost city of Fengdu.
Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise
Morning sail through the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Afternoon river excursion on Shennong Stream.
Day 10: Yangtze River Cruise - Shanghai
Morning passes the Three Gorges shiplock. Then disembark cruise at Yichang.
Take a short flight to Shanghai, the vibrating city with sharp contrasts. Upon arrival Shanghai, you will be transferred to hotel and relax.
Evening tour to the Bund - the exciting colonial waterfront.
Day 11: Shanghai
City overview tour of the Yuyuan Garden and Bazzar, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum.
A special touch ... this evening, enjoy the marvellous Shanghai acrobatic show.
Day 12: Shanghai
Today, your China journey draws to a close. After buffet breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for your flight home or next destination. Bon voyage!
